ROSS Program
Mark L. Killen, M.Div., ROSS Coordinator

March 4 of 2008 The ROSS Program was invited to participate with the Huntington School of Fine Woodwork WIA day at the State Capital where all the students had the opportunity to meet the Governor of West Virginia. Both programs were both recognized in the House of Delegates.

On March 10th of 2008 the ROSS Program began its new class with great expectations. Currently we have 8 Students. They are: Wanda Buxton, Phill Harris, Garnett Sturgil, Dorleta Burkhardt, Rodney Cocheran, Celena Ballestero, Robbie Stubblefield, and Rodney Cocheran.
This group is going to be kept busy working on several projects throughout their time in the ROSS Program. First, we, along with the Huntington School of Fine Woodwork, has been asked to build simple walls for the Ashland Gun Club, Practical Pistol Division.

Second, we’ve been asked if we could help with a project that the Huntington School of Fine Woodwork is doing. Namely rehabilitate some cabinets and build some cubbyholes for the Fairland West Elementary School in Proctorville.
Don’t forget to check out the new offices of the ROSS Program at 30 Northcott Court. Bigger Classrooms, more space and more fun!
