The Huntington West Virginia Housing Authority

Resident Support Services

This page is designed to introduce you to all the exciting programs and activities the HHA offers you and your family. We want to encourage you to take advantage of all the recreational, educational, financial and spiritual programs we offer. It is our desire to provide a safe and drug free environment for you and your family.

We provide a 24 hour Drug Hotline (877-526-4440). Each community strives to have an active Block Watch Program with various residents keeping an eye out for drug and crime activity as well as suspicious persons within the community. If you see, hear or suspect a crime or drug activity is taking place we encourage you to call the police or drug hotline immediately. You are the eyes and ears of your community.

In addition, we have social workers that are here to support you. If you need information or assistance in any way, our social workers are available to direct you to the programs and agencies that can best assist you with your needs.

Quarterly you will receive a free newsletter, The Community Reporter, with articles and information on weekly meetings and activities. Each Community Reporter comes with a calendar detailing the events with times and locations for each community. All activities and programs are offered to all residents living in HHA communities. Just because the activity does not take place within your community does not mean that you can not participate. We provide transportation from other communities to the various activity sites.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions please feel free to call 304-526-4400. If you would like to volunteer to help in any of our programs, we need your support.
