Washington Square, Project WV 4-1, embraces Eighth and Artisan Avenues between Hal Greer Boulevard and Seventeenth Street, and is named in honor of John N. Washington. A former leader in the educational circles in the city of Huntington. This project was completed and ready for occupancy by August 30, 1940.

Northcott Court, Project WV 4-2, fronting Hal Greer Boulevard between Doulton and Charleston Avenues, is named in honor of Gustavais Adolhus Northcott, a civic leader, president of the State Senate during 1905-06, and an early director of the First Huntington National Bank. This unit was also completed and ready for occupancy on August 30, 1940.

Marcum Terrace, Project WV 4-3, located on Olive Street, is named in honor of Roy L. Marcum, whose efforts were untiring in civic duty in the community. This was yet another of the projects that was completed and ready for occupancy on September 28, 1940.

Fairfield Tower, Project WV 4-4, located at 1701 Franklin Avenue, is named for the Fairfield Area of the city in which it is located. This high-rise facility was first occupied in 1970.

Riverview East, Project WV 4-5, is located in Huntington's East End, on Short Street in Guyandotte. This high-rise was completed and ready for occupancy by October 30, 1972.

Madison Manor, Project WV 4-6, is located at 1301 Madison Avenue. Its name is simply the same as its street location. This facility was completed and ready for occupancy on June 29, 1971.

W.K. Elliott Garden Apartments, Project WV 4-8 is named in honor of Dr. W. K. Elliott, a dentist who served on the Board of Commissioners for twenty-five years. This facility fronts Bridge Street in Guyandotte between Buffington Street and Creamery Alley. These units were completed and ready for occupancy on July 30, 1982.

Trowbridge Manor, Project WV 4-9 is named in honor of Robert N. Trowbridge, a former Executive Director who was a Huntington Housing employee for 34 years.

Trowbridge (1 units) = 420 dollars

Fourteen homes, Project WV 4-10, vary in size and location with some units having as many as four bedrooms, and are all located within the city limits of Huntington. Purchased in August of 1988.

Acquisition Homes (12 units) = 555 dollars
FOUR BEDROOM UNITS
Acquisition Homes (2 units) = 495 dollars

Carter G. Woodson Apartments, Project WV 4-12, is located on Eighth Avenue and Hal Greer Boulevard, this facility is the most modern of all of our facilities. The facility was named after Carter G. Woodson, who was the Father of Black American History and a local resident and educator. The facility has twenty, three bedroom units and was built and leased in 1995.
